    Photos Turned 90 degrees

I cannot figure out why my photos turn 90 degrees. I have actually re saved them at an opposing 90 degrees and when uploaded they too are turned back 90 degrees.

    Help!

    thanks

There was an update some time ago that causes photos taken on phones to post in landscape orientation, regardless of how they were taken.

Easiest fix - go to the image and make some sort of minor change to it. I just remove one row of pixels, but you can just change the color in a small area, that would work also. Then save it in the correct orientation. That should do it.

Another simple solution is to use this link to create a post-able link. http://photoposting.is-great.net/?i=3

Works great. Here’s a picture in portrait mode using link created with it.

Those sites do work great but if they ever cease to exsist , change to a pay site or have data limits on viewing we are left looking at gray squares saying oops.
You can create an album here and do the same thing without the concern of viewing errors from another site
