Sagging Fresh water tank On 303RL fifth wheel

The fresh water tank is sagging down under our trailer. The retaining straps must be stretching. We travel with water in the tank as we don’t always know if we will have water available at our overnight stops. Because the tank is sagging, the retaining bolts holding the black underbelly cover are ripping out of the cover. To fix this I installed a 3”x3”x1/4” aluminum angle across the trailer frame under the water tank to support it. I bolted the angle to the rear spring shackle bracket. I drilled a hole in the shackle bracket (the square tube welded to the frame) and in the angle at each end and used 1/2” bolts to attach the angle to the frame. This should provide adequate support to stop the tank from sagging down.

Is that how all our fresh water tanks are mounted? Hung by straps?

Have seen couple of posts where the angle on the edges of the tank bends from a strap breaking or pulling out of the angle.
