    Arrow Puck Light Replacement Question

Just got some puck light replacements from you today. Does the fixture just pop out of the ceiling or is there a special method for releasing the spring clips? I don't want to damage the ceiling. Thanks

    Hi Johnny & Mary (@Kamper),

Pull the puck light assembly down with equal force around the circumference, and the spring clips should retract and release the light from the ceiling panel.

I have one in the kitchen that half of it flickers badly. It's enough to drive you crazy. How do you go about getting a replacement?

Just FYI fredandfred, I called customer support about a light that stopped working in my kitchen (under cabinet with switch type) and they told me that since my camper is still under warranty, all work (including light replacements) have to be done at a dealer. In other words, they can't send out the replacement part for you to repair yourself. My guess is that it's to control fraud or miss diagnosis. Let me know if you get a different answer though!

The key is to tell them that to haul your trailer into a dealer how ever far away to sit on it for who knows how long just to replace a light, ridicules, please send it directly to me so I can be done with it!

They have done it for me a couple of times, Good luck

EDIT: of course you need to be within GD warrantee period.

I had a puck light go out. GD sent me 2 replacements ( the color was much warmer than the originals, so I assume it was so they matched after replacement). As Janice said you pull down on both sides. but, first pull from one edge and see where the springs are positioned and then be sure your fings are not where the springs are located. When the fixture comes out the springs snap down with significant force ( I thought I would lose a fingernail from it snapping on my finger tip).

You have to pull with significant force and if it is over the kithcen area hutch like mine in our 303, the spring tips actually press against the board above it requiring added force. You might have to angle one spring to come out just a little ahead of the other one. I was initially concerned about breaking something. I was able to remove the one over the sofa more easily so I could see I would not break anything. Once again, really watch the fingers.
