My Brother just got telling me how the rep for his FR 5er told him to rotate the seal when he had the same issue as you. He told me he got some rubber gloves, held the pedal down with his knee and removed/rotated the seal while making extra sure NOT to drop it into the tank. According to my brother, that fixed his problem.

I had the make and model written down and I misplaced the information and the unit is at the storage lot.
Can anyone help me out with the make and model?
I'd like to get to my dealer to get the proper parts.

    Thank you in advance,
    Rob

I usually take a little vaseline every couple of months and rub it under the opening and around the edge off the ball and that takes care of it.

Yes, in the mix of the posts. GD sent me the parts and said I could do it myself since we are out with the rig.
We didn't want to go on a waiting list for a toilet seal warranty that I can simply fix myself.

FWIW the seal on the toilet in our 2020 Reflection 303RLS failed on the very first trip last fall with it - the maiden voyage. There seems to be a quality issue with that Thetford throne. GD through my local dealer replaced it immediately of course without any delay and it has not leaked a drop since.

There is such a thing as a seal conditioner that a friend used when his got dried out. It worked and now he keeps water in the bowl when stored.
I purchased it from Amazon. I was thinking it was doing nothing but I am now rethinking it!! I beleive it is a faulty husband!!! I am thinking he is not refilling the bowl!!
