    Auto level?

Have auto level on my 337. We do a lot of weekends at state parks. When you pull into sites that aren't near level, or any site for that matter, do you check side to side level and adjust using blocks or boards under the tires on one side? I did side to side with my old TT before unhooking, but was wondering if its not close if I should do that with the auto level? Also do most use any blocks under each leveler?

I was told by Lippert that the trailer has to be reasonably level for the auto level to work. Our driveway has a good slope so I use 6 X 6's under the front landing gear. I lower the front legs until it is almost level then hit the auto level. When our trailer is level the front tires have almost no weight on them. I would use blocks under each leveler to prevent them from sinking into the ground. I would think if your seriously off level side to side you would want to drive up on blocks.

Auto level is a nice feature, but it does have limitations. I've been parked for a few nights with tires off the ground on one side

I seem to recall that if your more than 3.5 degrees off level the auto level won't work properly.

I have had a few times that the auto level would try to raise one side until both tires were off the ground to level the trailer. I would then put the control in manual mod and lower the trailer back down so the tires were back on the ground and then lower the opposite side of the trailer to level the unit. It does have limitations and at times it will try raising both sides of the trailer a small amount before even starting to auto level the trailer. But I have to say it is really nice to have the ability to manually control a four axes of the trailer with a push of a button.

Mine will not pick the tires up off the ground anymore. It is basically just a stabilizer. I have to block the tires to get it close. Does everyone's pick the tires off the ground?

Hey Ron it might be because the place I am parked is on a pretty good slope.

Is it more stable and will you feel less movement in the trailer when the tires are in contact with the ground? We have a Solitude 375re and I would like to minimize feeling the movement when people walk around.

My opinion, the further out the jacks, the more the wobble
