    Anyone pulling 323bh with f250 or f350

Well have nice 2012 f150 I fully intended on using to pull a new bumper pull camper. However since I pulled trigger yesterday on a 323bh it's not going to work. So....now I'm looking for crew cab F250 or F350 2012 or newer to pull it. Anyone have some recommendations based on personal experience with either?

We live in mountain area with elevation of 6500'. We also take a good trip to Wisconsin in July and will probably make most of our trips a couple hours away.
    Thanks
    Jon

Not the same camper as you (350M Momentum), but I use a F250 to pull it. the GVWR on the camper is 16,100# and my truck has no issues. I also did a few modifications to help with pulling. See signature below.

F250 with 6.7 diesel and 5th wheel upgrade package. I've been very happy with it, it pulls like a champ. It has the 6'8" bed and a 16k Reese slider hitch.

Sounds good, It looks like its going to be 2014 F250 with 6.7l. Having B and W companion hitch installed next week after I pick the truck up.

That is what I have to pull our 323BHS. Mine is a 4x4 Crew Cab with the FX4 and Lariat packages. I have a pullrite auto slider hitch as well. It pulls great but I did add air bags to level it out. Just for added insurance I am going to install a sway bar, helper springs and Bilstein shocks. I also plan on installing the 50 gallon Titan tank because these trucks come with only a 26 gallon tank. Just an FYI...you will likely be over GVWR with the 323BH but I have done a lot of research on this topic and still feel like I have plenty enough truck with the F250.

I too am pulling a 323BHS with a F250 diesel crew cab 2wd. I can pull my trailer just fine. but I'm max'd out in my vehicle's capability. But I just don't have the handling and braking that dual rear wheels bring.

There is very little price difference between the F250 and a F350 with dual rear wheels. Since you're in mountainous areas, go the extra and get duals.
