I have a Lions Energy battery and emailed them and said I was using a BMV-712 and they provided me all the settings. Might want to write down all the variables and send that to your battery manufacturer and see what they say.

Yes, good suggestion. I did call them and they sent a bunch of info - just not the info I need for this monitor. I just sent them an email w/ the specific needs so we'll see what I get back.

Or. . . . If there's anyone out there using an Interstate group 27 battery(ies) and can share that info, that'd be super helpful! Thanks!

Just from what I've read, meaning I don't know much about this, I had to look it up.
I think the VictronConnect app always shows you what the default Bluetooth Pairing PIN is even after you change it.

For lead acid batteries like the Interstate you have, (I'm assuming wet cell lead acid versus AGM):

AM Solar: Battery & Charger Settings: https://amsolar.com/rv-solar/support

    WFCO-9800 Series Converter
    Absorption charge voltage 13.6V
Bulk charge voltage: (4 Hrs) 14.4V
    Storage charge voltage 13.2V

    SmartShunt

    •7.1 Battery settings - https://www.victronenergy.com/upload...S-SE-PT-IT.pdf

    •Battery Capacity = ~160Ah
    Wet Cell Lead Acid: https://marinehowto.com/smartgauge-b...nitoring-unit/
"As batteries age their capacity changes, the charge efficiency changes as does the Peukert’s constant.
A battery is an ever moving target, so the 100Ah battery you bought three years ago may now only be a 75Ah battery"
"A trick many of us in the industry might use is to start with a lower programmed Ah capacity than the bank is rated for."

    •Charged Voltage = 13.2V / 13.6 / 14.1 (Don't know)

    •Discharge floor = 50% (Default )

    •Tail current = 4.00% (Default)

    •Charged detection time = 3.0 minutes (Default)

    •Peukert exponent = 1.25 (Default)
Manual 7.1.6 - When unknown it is recommended to keep this value at 1.25 (default) for lead acid batteries

    •Charge efficiency factor = 94% (AM Solar)

    •Current threshold = 0.10A (Default)

    •Time-to-go averaging period = 3 minutes (Default)

    •Battery starts synchronised = OFF

So all of these settings are just trying to make the SOC reading accurate.
