Auto leveling....worth it?

I have a Solitude with auto level but use it manually a lot of the time because I camp a lot in mountains and on steep hills so still have to use blocks and do some leveling but its worth it because I love camping in the mountains. Have used auto level only a few times when camping near cities and such. I do like the six legs however they provide more stability for the trailer when parked.

Well, obviously this is not an option...darn it! I guess that saves me the added stress of re-negotiating the price of our new rig!

Still can't wait to take possession, which I'm sure will be pushed back due to all the snow we've recently received! Can spring just arrive already?

This unit is beautiful and more than what we need, and something we can comfortably tow in the mountains! Could have purchased a heavier unit, but might have been an issue! I do like to pack lots of stuff!

Well folks, I hate to disagree, but we have a 337RLS that we ordered last spring equipped with Lippert Level Up. Best option I've ever had on a trailer.

Was your Level Up dealer installed after the trailer hit their lot? They don't appear to be anything a good service department cannot install. I was thinking that Level Up's are not presently available from the factory.

Lippert recently purchased Rieco/Titan, and their Ground Control 4 post automatic leveler is electric powered. This unit appears easier to install, and faster operating. Owner feedback seems positive on them.

There are so many things we love about our Solitude but I have to say that the 6 point Level-up system is my favorite. After using the standard electric front landing gear with manual rear stabilizers on our last 2 RV's, this Level-up system is AWESOME! I would never have another rig without it.

We ordered it when we bought the trlr. The trlr was built and then taken to Lippert which is apparently a short distance from Grand Design. It was installed by Lippert. There is a bit of a learning curve in terms of what it can and can't do. One thing is it really doesn't like sites that aren't fairly close to level.

I also vote for auto levelers. I've spent enough time adding blocks and timbers to the wheels to get it "jut right".

I've had both, with and without. I'd never buy another without auto-level... It's the greatest thing since sliced bread
