    Wobbly Dining Table

Our 29RLS 5th wheel has a wobbly dining table. The floor support and support on the underside of the table seem to be tight. The problem appears to be with the pedestal. It is loose both on the floor support and where it connects to the underside of the table. Can't see where there is anything to tighten. Anyone else encounter this problem? Suggestions on how to fix?

We had the same problem with our table. There are four screws that hold the base to the floor. Remove all four screws and turn the table upside down, you will then see a nut on the bottom of the pedestal. Tighten the nut with a wrench and reattach the table with the four screws you removed. This fixed our wobble. Hope that helps.

Thanks! We followed your feedback; it fixed the table! Good as new. FYI - Just remember to re-position the table with the sliding table drawer toward the front after tightening! Table got fixed but the sliding drawer is now toward the wall! Good thing there was nothing important in it!

Having the same issue on our 2022 21BHE model. We've only had it a few months and the table top is loose. It has a compression cylinder that you loosen and push down to make the bed. The top is /was apparently loose right from the factory. I pulled the four screws that hold the top to the metal column plate - there are three threaded screws that attach the top plate to the compression cylinder. Two of the three screws were stripped right from the factory. So much for grand design. Of course will be addressing this as a warranty repair but I think the compression cylinders is not such a grand design itself. If this was post warranty I would just spot weld the top plate to the cylinder in two or three places. The cylinder itself wobbles a little bit even when locked. You might have to attach a wall brace to make this design actually work.
