Actual 2020 Ford 6.7 Fuel mileage towing and solo - please post
Please keep this thread on topic as I am hoping to gather information to help folks (and myself) choose between the 2020 6.7 new generation diesel and the new 7.3 gas Godzilla motor. The 7.3 thread has offered some excellent information.
If you have a 2020 6.7 please report your fuel mileage towing, solo, and your rear end gearing. Please only 2020 Ford 6.7 diesels folks.
Also report if there have been any issues with the 6.7 or the new 10 speed auto trans.
If you had to choose again would you do anything different?
Thanks in advance folks

I have a 2020 F350 Dually, Super Cab, 6.7 diesel, 10 speed transmission, 3:55 rear end.
Just over 3,000 miles on truck
1,125 miles towing, soon to be a lot more.
Trailer
2020 Reflection 337RLS
Trailer weight about 13,000 pounds
Pin weight about 3,000
I have only done one short stretch of interstate while towing. 12.7 mpg.
The normal roads I drive are bad to horrible two lane winding black top roads. Lots of slowing down and speeding up. These roads I get 10.5 to 11.5 mpg.
Empty I get 16 to 20 mpg.
If I find these numbers change I will try to post new numbers.
I love the truck and it is a perfect match for the trailer. Compared to my 2012 F250 6.7, the 2020 is a beast. The 10 speed transmission is great and so far no problems with the truck.Last edited by Always Learning; 07-06-2020 at 08:40 AM.

I have a 2020 F-350 6.7 with the Tremor package which comes with a 3.55 rear end. I've only towed about 1,900 miles so far towing my 2020 Solitude 310GK at about 14,800lbs. Mileage is around 11.5 towing. 21-22ish on the highway empty at 55-60 (Central Oregon has slow highway speeds).
No problems with the engine or transmission - or anything else for that matter. I really like the 2020 Tremor and would buy the same truck again. I may actually keep this one for a while (I'm on my 3rd truck in 4 years).Last edited by bertschb; 07-05-2020 at 09:21 PM.

2020 F450 here 4:30 gears. I've done highway trips without the trailer and at 70 mph it gets 18.5-19 mpg turning about 2100 rpm's. I've only towed the Solitude a couple hundred miles with it so far but started with full tank and zero'd mpg readout. At 60-63 mph it steadied out at 10 mpg. Solitude weighs 16600 per Cat Scale. No issues at all with the truck and wouldn't change a thing.....love it!
