Air conditioner
running the A/C with the fan on auto it runs trough 5 or 6 cycles then fan shuts off and compressor runs. Sometimes fan kicks back on and starts all over again. Had it in to place we bought it and said ran it for 8 hours and nothing is wrong. We have had this issue since we bought it 2017 337RLS. Any ideas

If it is a Dometic A/C my understanding is when the fan is on AUTO it will run on high speed until the temperature in the trailer is within 5 degrees of the set point and then the fan will stop for a couple of seconds and then restart on low speed. The compressor will continue to run during this process.

If the compressor is running continuously without the fan , check the t-stat wiring. Our front unit had the compressor control wire and the high speed fan control wire swapped at the stat. Easy to diagnose with a DC meter. All the wiring is color coded , and there are diagrams on the roof unit & the stat.
