    Awning Material Upgrade?

    Hi,

We noticed holes in our awning, just tiny ones and I patched them with the recommended tape. It seams kind of off to me that this would happen. We only used the awning once since we got it back from service. Is the material not strong? What do people generally replace their awnings to once the originals wear out? Do they go to a more sturdy material, or stick with the same?

Most of the available material are just bonded vinyl.

You could upgrade to acrylic, but it is a pretty penny to do so.

Any chance you flew to close to the flame? Meaning, a big campfire with flying embers with ruin an awning (and TPO) roof pretty quickly!

By your posts here, beginning to think you have a black cloud following you @EddieK82!

It may be still under warrentee being its a 2020 model. Give GD and the MFG a call on it. Have your vin handy. You could also look in the owners material packet to see how long the awning is covered.
