Yesterday I did the paper test on all the seals - all the way around on all doors and felt a consistent drag as I pulled the the paper out. There's no obvious breach on the seals. I also read about the flap issue and the added washer trick. On mine, I confirmed the flap is not rubbing on the bottom edge of the fridge (could easily slip paper between the bottom of the fridge and the bottom of the flap). My theory now is this fridge just isn't insulated well and that's what causes it to run nearly continuously.

We're planning a long road trip and I'm in the no-propane-while-underway camp so we'll just plan to keep an ice chest in the back seat while travelling.

Unless. . . . Am I missing something else to check . . . ?
