I had posted some usage numbers previously that were incorrect and have removed them. Here is some more accurate information.
I am looking at my battery monitor right now.
No lights on in the trailer, normal parasitic draws fridge running but no fan. 1.6 dc amps being used.
When fridge fan turns on usage goes to 2.2 amps so the fan takes .6 amps to run.
When I turn the fridge off the trailer is using .6 to .8 amps so the fridge takes about 1 amp
So 1 amp for 24 hours is 24 amp hours a day to run the fridge plus the amps consumed by the fan.Last edited by Always Learning; 07-08-2020 at 09:40 PM.

OK, after doing my homework I am going to upgrade to a PD9160 60 amp converter in my 2018 337RLS. I guess WFCO doesn't have the best product.
Can someone tell me where the converter is located? Is in under the fuse box inside the trailer or behind the front storage wall?
Thanks.

We have a 2019 337 with the Dometic 1350 four door refrig. We like to boondock a lot so we bought 2 6 volt batteries at 210Ah. Depending on the weather our refrig fans run a lot too. We monitor the batteries very closely and found that with the refrig and the parasitic draw, and nothing else running between 10pm and 8am, we would lose .1 volts in just 10 hours. Normally we use portable solar panels in the day, but sometimes there is no sun. If we get no sun, we figured only 2 to 3 days without running the generator. So I added 2 additional 6 volts to 4. We now only drop .05 volts in the same time frame. YES the 337 refrig sucks down battery life. I was really excited to get the 4 door refrig, but like the 2 door so much better for boondocking.

Hi all - I found this thread thru a search. . . . We're still new to our trailer and I was a little surprised how much the fridge stays running. There's no problem keeping things cold in both the fridge and freezer, but it just runs and runs and runs even at the lowest setting. Our first two trips we were hooked up so power was not an issue. When we got home, I ran it overnight on propane (fresh charged battery and nothing else running) and the next morning the battery was down significantly (not dead, but would need to be recharged). It's been kinda warm outside but no abnormally hot. So I'm wondering. . . . (A) Is there a breach in the door seal and the fridge is just working to overcome it? (B) Is this just the way these fridges work and I need more battery for boondocking?

I had one run all night (the fan that is) once and it turns out the door was not closed completely. Shortly after closing it the fan stopped.
