On The Road Again :)
After wandering from Canada to Nashville to Florida last fall, we stored the 303 in Fort Meyers over Christmas and returned to Canada. We got "out of the north" just ahead of the current snow storms and have picked up the camper to continue where we left off. A couple more months of wandering about the southeast and it "might" be warm enough to head home .

Glad you're enjoying traveling from place to place. And to think that you don't have to spend $12.99 per 6 pack of beer and 15% sales taxes--like in Canada.
We're proud to do business with Canadians.

It's a good thing that the beer (and the wine and the gas) are cheap . . . since the Canadian dollar is falling like a rock compared to the US dollar. Expect that we will see all you guys up in our neck of the woods next summer .

We often travel internationally, but Canada is our Plan B when airfares are too high.
We flew to Manchester, NH 18 mos. ago and drove a rental car as far as the roads would take us--Cape Breton Island. I'll admit it's some beautiful country, and the bed and breakfasts are great. We especially enjoyed our B&B hosts.

Good deal missing the snow. Enjoy the time wandering.
We were supposed to leave for FL yesterday, but with 17" of fresh white stuff it put us off by a day and we're heading out in about an hourMarcy & Gary

Enjoy your travels. Since it got down to 45 in Sarasota last night, it must be pretty chilly up north.
I saw one Solitude in the park we're in, but haven't been over to see if they are on this forum yet. We met some nice Solitude owners in Melbourne and told them about the forum.

Hi Paul,
See further discussion on another recent thread about towing with the F150 Ecoboost.
Ford has obviously engineered and tested this truck to do what the ratings say it will do.
We have never been the limiting factor on any grades that we have encountered. There is always some 18 wheeler that pulls out into the left lane and we have to slow down to much less than the F150 & Ecoboost are capable of.
On the downhill side, we came across I24 from Nashville to Chattanooga down the Monteagle grade. (an interesting piece of road . . . see Google)
This little truck took itself down to 2nd gear at 5000 RPM and controlled the 4 mile 6% decent at 45 to 50 MPH. Engine and trans temp gauges stayed mid range the whole time. I was on the brakes less than half the time of the bigger 5th wheel rig ahead of us and the 18 wheelers all around us were using up a lot of brakes!
I never used enough brake apply to be anywhere near fade.
