Any ideas for Arizona in the winter?

We're looking to spend January, 2016 in Arizona and are looking for a good campground. We've only been to Arizona once and stayed with family in the Tucson area. We'd like to be able to visit areas like the Grand Canyon and other sites on day trips. Any ideas on a good locale to set up, where temperatures are nice enough for shorts & tees mostly? Where we can use the pool and/or hot tub and still lay out and get some sun? Thanks for any suggestions, it can be a resort or have a northern campground feel with lots of trees. We're mostly interested in getting out of Michigan for winter.

We think we're going to move AZ to March instead of January. Logistically it makes more sense and will give us a chance to visit the desert while in bloom.

When I have friends and family visit Tucson, I usually refer them to Voyager RV Park which is located in the SE portion of Tucson and has easy access to I-10. They have a beautiful pool, and lots of activities available. Here's a link to their website:

As for the desert bloom, you'll typically find better wildflowers starting in April. Our Saguaro cacti bloom in May. If you're going to head to the Grand Canyon, you'd be much better off in March/April than January. It's much higher and colder than the desert areas.
