    Rob,

I have the Ford Sync with in dash GPS. Do you know if it is possible to connect it into a rear view camera? That would be sweet if I could do that.

    Hi Jim & Jim

The GPS is a Garmin RV760LMT. We have been pretty happy with its performance. Although . . . we have learned through experience that when Garmin and Good Sam disagree . . . follow Good Sam . The camera is more of a back-up than a rear view. The lense is fish-eye so has a wide field of view but not much depth of focus. I would like to find a better camera, but Garmin only sells the one that is mated to their system. The GPS unit disconnects really easily from its "hot shoe" so is easy to put out of sight and out of the heat, whenever parked.

The Ford Sync in-dash GPS screen comes with a tailgate backup camera option. (We couldn't get this interior with the max-payload suspension . . . a long story, but Ford packaging ties the up level interior to specific wheels and tires . . . which are not the 7 lug max payload) I don't know if other cameras can be tied into the Ford system . . . or just the one in their tailgate.

    Rob,

This is where I plead stupid. I have your truck in Platinum (2013) and yes I do have the back up camera, which unless I can devise a split screen option would be kinda hard to have TWO cameras going !! I too have thought about where I would put a moniter for a backup but don't want to be a screwin' and a drillin' and a fishin'. I know what you mean about the wheels though, the Limited version has 22" wheels and tows in the high 6's I believe, whereas my 20" are good for 11,300.

    Hi Jim,

When towing, you really don't need a tailgate camera. What would be clever would be a way to unplug the tailgate camera and plug in a rear view camera on the back of the trailer, that would come up on your existing screen.

    Back Up Cam

We got the backup cam from Furrion for our Solitude. It cuts out from time to time while driving but it does the trick. I'm just checking who's tailing me. It crapped out just before this weekend's trip. I think it's the power to the cam not the monitor. Mine is directly wired; hot all the time. I want to find out where the fuze is so I can check it. Love the Solitude btw! After the bugs were worked out by Dixie RV, it's been doing great!

I istalled a RVS WiFi camera on my Solitude this weekend. Seems to work well. I did notice a slight lag at times. Once I have the installation completed, I'll post a better review with pics. Get to try it out Wednesday, providing I can get the Norcold fixed before then.

I got mine from Tadi Brothers
    http://www.tadibrothers.com/Catalog/...-Backup-Camera
CCD Wireless Camera. 12v power is all that's required. Built in transmitter in the camera and receiver in the monitor. 65'.
7 LCD monitor split screen capable.

Total with 2 year extended warranty and shipping was $340.79

Couldn't stand it after reading that some are intended for backing only so I called Tadi. This one is intended for full time use.. whew!

The 12v cig lighter adapter, cup mount and flat mount were not in the box (per the video) but after a call to customer service I received them 3 day Priority Mail today, no charge. Great customer service so far. Won't get the 303 for a few weeks but will report back around Aug. 1 after our initial trip. Hopefully that's all I'll have to talk about except how much fun we had. We'll see how it goes with the pre-wired camera mount on the '16 303.

    Hi @Tustin3,

Check the front bulkhead area. There are qty-2 10-amp fuses in weather jackets: one is for the leveling jacks and the other is for the back-up camera (should have a purple wire).

    Best regards,
    ~ Janice
