    Question pendant light bulbs

    Hi all,

I'm new to this forum. I just purchased a 2014 Solitude 367rl and one of my pendant lights went out. I read the manual but couldn't find what type of bulb is in there. I'm not sure if the bulb screws in or is a bayonet mount of simply goes straight in with prongs. I'm afraid to exert much strength on the removal of the old bulb for fear of breaking it off in the socket. Does anyone know what type of bulb this is? I feel strange not knowing how to replace a light bulb.

    Thanks,
    Ron

Us too, Ron! I got the bulb out, Tim at the service center helped, it does have two prongs like old style auto bulbs, but has no number. Ours is a Reflection, but bet it is the same! Help will come here soon!

If it's like mine, push in, and rotate counter-clockwise.

The original bulbs are 1076. I replaced mine with LED bulbs. They work great. I purchased them from Amazon.

Thanks everyone for the input. I tried the push in counter clock wise move and it wouldn't budge. I also tried to pull straight down as if there were two prongs-- no movement. I'm going to wait till someone comes out to help. I can live with one light for awhile.

They are very hard to push in and turn. I thought it would break in my hand but it did come out. I used a cloth to protect my fingers, just in case. I replaced with LED lights too.

Thanks Jim for coming through again with the good information. The double bulb fixture under the hutch burnt the socket to bulb connection, probably bad/loose contact. Dean Brovont is sending me a new fixture, great people at Grand Design! Is there a good reference where I can find the bulb numbers for all the fixtures? I want to do the LED conversion too!

No problem. Here's a copy and paste from a post I made last year.

"All items were purchased from Amazon - Do a copy and paste on the listings below and you should be able to find them.

921 Bulbs (pancake lights) - Note: These are polarity sensitive, so if they don't light up, rotate them 180 degrees.
GRV T10 wedge 921 194 25-3528 SMD LED Bulb Lamp Super Bright Warm White DC12V

    1383 Bulbs (reading lights)
    1383 LED 2 Watt 50,000 hour life

    1076 Bulbs (Kitchen Island Lights)
GRV BA15D 1076 1142 High Bright Car Bulb 102-3528 SMD DC12V Warm White"

I really like the color and brightness of the bulbs I purchased. It ran less than $200 for the complete conversion.

    Jim
