    Freshwater drain 21BHE

Does anyone know how to drain the freshwater tank on the 21BHE? I don’t see any valves. Also. Do you all drain the water heater for each trip?
    Thanks

Theres a valve with a handle underneath. There are also 2 with a blue and red cap but those are just to drain the lines not the fresh water tank. I dont drain the heater unless I dont plan on using it for a good while like a couple of months.

My 22MLE has a valve handle underneath towards the middle / in front of the wheels on the door side. It is just like the black/gray valve handles but is white.

Typical rule of thumb is two weeks for the fresh tank, or at least a rule of thumb I’ve used for forty or more years. It is easy to dump and fill so why not give it a fresh charge just before travel. Most City water systems use chlorine so if your tank is filled with a City supply, you are giving it fighting chance to stay fresh.
The actual pressurized system, lines and hot water tank can go much longer although I seldom go more than a month. I do relieve some of the pressure, pump off and simply open a tap for few seconds. This year of the COVID has changed our travel habits, it has been a couple of months between trips. I drained everything, wil give the system a quick flush the day before travel.

I drain the fresh tank between trips, and the water heater if it'll be 2 weeks or more until our next trip.
I found I can drain the WH by removing the cold low point drain cap (I installed a valve), and opening the hot side faucet in the kitchen.
