Momentum 328 gas tank???

The tank label says it's a 40 gallon tank. Why is it when I was at a 1/4 of a tank, it only took 15 gallons??? This was a while back. Today, it was showing 1/2 tank and it only took like 12 gallons to fill it. Gonna be hard to tell when you are really empty! Anyone else have issues with your gauge?

I have issues too. Supposedly I have two 30 gallon tanks, but the gage increments dont really line up to that. I usually fill the tanks until the gage reads full, but other than that, I dont think they are accurate at all.

My 381 is suppose to be (2) 30 gal tanks, the dealer had nly put fuel in the front tank to test run the generator.
The rear tank had never had any fuel put in it and was reading empty when I brought it home.
I put 15 gals in it, then the gauge was reading just under 1/4 tank (the trailer was level on the jack pads when I checked it).
