I just booked a site at James Island for Sept. We come down I-26 so I don't have to deal with 17. Looking forward to some kayak fishing in the Folly River!

So I like to check YouTube for actual footage of parks - found these two recent videos - one is in a Reflection fifth wheel and the other a huge Momentum. The first 7 minutes of the Momentum video are all about James Island Campground and the last couple minutes of the Reflection video cover the campground.

We took our Reflection 295RL there at the end of June. No problems getting in and out. Our height is closer to 13’ with the second AC. It looked like some of the trees on Riverland had been freshly pruned.

This is good to hear - freshly trimmed branches.

I had made a similar post over on iRV2 and one of the members there contacted the park who contacted the county and go the trees trimmed. Kudos to him!

I think, as it turns out, we are going to stay in a VRBO with one of sons, his girlfriend and her parents for 3 nights. We haven't done that in a whole lot-a years. It should be interesting.

Sure can. We were 13’6” and it was no problems. You can see everything about the park and some driving tips in our video on YouTube. Link below. Hope it helps.
