Gary, we have the same trailer as you and the 295Rl does not have the type of slides that need to be synchronized (Schwintek). Our models use a through the frame model that is motor driven but not electronicly controled. All adjustments to the slide are done mechanicaly. Look for instructions on Lipperts site for the "through the frame" model slide adjustment. By the way, I just looked at the same slide on our trailer and can see your concern however look to see if the rubber seal is compressed all of the way down the side of the slide out. Our slide gap looks just like your picture and the rubber seal is in complete contact. Good luck.
