    New 295RL Slide

    Hey Guys/Gals,

Took out my new 295 RL over the past weekend and all was good, except the humming fridge (yes, I will be pulling it out to get rid of the China fan) and while packing it ready to leave I notice what I think is a slide not fully engaged in the track. I have attached two pics, one of the side that closed completely but the other side has a gap between the slide and frame.

Anyone out there with a 295, do you see this same gap?

    Thanks.

Hard to tell from the photos. Are the seals fully flattened all the way around?

Some gap is expected, as long as the seals are compressed is the goal. That 2nd picture looks like too much gap. If you look at the LCI website there are some manuals that will tell you how to adjust the slide and you can see if that helps, it's fairly easy to do.

Yes the pictures are poor but I will check on those manuals- it’s under warranty I would think- but if I can keep from hauling it to a dealer and waiting for them to get to it I will gladly work on it.

It looks like the one side is not tight against the seals.

Can you synchronize the slide motors to get it even?

I'll have to download a manual for that process since I have no idea how to do that. You wouldn't have to know of a video or manual on that process would you?

Not sure which slide out is in your model, but if you type ' LCI slide out manual ' in Google you will find links to the PDF versions and some you tube videos.

Steve, thanks for the link - this will help a lot. I did notice that when I retracted the slide it made a funny noise - sorta grinding. Looks like I need to look for a obstruction then try syncing.
