Multi-zone for RVs usually means 3 zones. If I read correctly the one above only has 2 zones, which would require an a/b switch to get the 3rd zone, unless outside speakers are not required.

My current GD Reflection 311 and previous Coachmen Apex had just 2 zones.... inside or outside. What would the 3rd zone be used for? Inside front vs inside rear?

I have a cute little 38' fifth wheel, it has 2 ceiling speakers inside the main living area, and 2 speakers outside facing the camp side.

All of the trailers and 5Ws I have owned also had speakers in the bedroom, so 3 zones. If you only have 2 zones then any car audio head unit will work as they have front and rear with fading...

Exactly what we have done, we have no need of having zones, it has been infinitely better. I might add we mostly boondock and are full-timers.

Do tell about how you power the ac devices while boondocking.

The problem with some car units is they can't play DVD's to the TV. Not interested in loosing that feature.

My trailer is 2 zones, inside and outside.

Most DVD head units will, though not through hdmi. If you only watch TV when plugged in to shore power, then a bluray player is in order anyway for the best pic quality.

You’re best off to just get a different system all together. I put in a Visio sound bar with wireless sub and surround speakers the square sub model and it works great. And I use a Bose soundtouch 30 outside I put a shelf in the basement and just leave it in there that also works great. Hope this helps I wouldn’t waste your time or money on what is already in the Rv. 2021 372WB solitude.
