    Relocating Imagine 23BHE brake wires

Hi all. I'm interested in installing Sumo Springs on my TT but there are brake wires glued to and running up through the insulation that are right in the way of where the spring on the driver side mounts.

Any thoughts on how to relocate and then reseal those wires in place?

    Thanks!

Nothing special really. It's just expanded foam. You can easily free the wires with hand-strength. How you re-route through the Coroplast depends on if the wire is really through it or slipped in around the edge. When you're done, buy a can of expanding foam for ponds and landscaping. It will be black like factory. Two brands are DAP and Right Stuff.

Thanks very much. The wires do come through the chloroplast, so I have to figure out how to get them through another spot. But this is helpful. Thanks again.

The Coroplast is just a corrugated plastic. Super easy to cut with a box cutter or punch a hole through. If you're not fearful of wiring, you can always cut the wiring free of the existing crimps at the brake, feed it where you wish through the Coroplast, and then re-terminate. If wiring is not your thing, you can always slot cut the Coroplast to move them over and then seal the cut. You can buy the specialty tape for it, but Gorilla tape works great IME IF you clean the Coroplast surface well before applying.
