Looking for a nice RV destination between LA and San Diego

We're looking to head southern CA for roughly 3-4 weeks in order to shorten our rainy winter months in Portland Or. Appreciate any suggestions for a nice well-kept RV park close to the ocean but away from the crazy crowds.. Thanks

Santee Lake. There are two CGs that were both nice when we were out there 4 years ago. However, do check COVID19 closures in SoCal beforehand.

if you are retired military Camp Pendleton has a nice campground on the beach

Dos Picos County Park in Ramona CA.

Puddingstone Lake in San Dimas.

Away from crazy crowds in So Cal? Good luck! LOL

The closer to the beach, the more $$. Most of the state beaches are booked. There's Campland on the Bay in San Diego but $$$$. You can go inland near Disneyland/Angel Stadium area and there are a couple of nice parks, but you about 15 miles inland.

We love Pechanga RV Resort in Temecula. Going again for 5th time in October. Very beautiful park with a huge Casino if that's what you like.We just go for the RV experience. San Diego and Oceanside are close by which we love to visit. Also wife's aunt in Fontana. We live in Sun City AZ.
