theater seat cup holder

I am trying to remove the lighted cup holders in the Thomas Payne recliners. Anyone happen to have done this and could give some feedback on how to do it. Thanks in advance.

What are you looking to accomplish? If you just want to kill the led, or install a lockout switch for heat/massage, you can do that at the control box easily. If you need to replace because of non-functional button, you have to carefully pry off the cover ring with nylon trim removal tools (auto parts store, Harbor Freight, etc.), and then the screws are obvious.

The wire going up got cut in half. Somehow got in the reclining part and got cut when put the recliner back down. I need tk replace wire.

Umph! There should be several inches of slack to allow splicing. If it's the new style with the single multi-pin connector end the sheathed cable may have duplicate wire colors depending on what your theater seats have for functions. So you might need to do some tracing before splicing. Plug and play replacements are ridiculously expensive! Good luck.
