    B&W Companion Hitch height

    B&W Hitch height
Hello all! Curious if someone can tell me hitch setting on a B&W 3305 for a stock height for 2020 F350 FX4 pulling a Momentum 395M trailer? My trailer is due for delivery next month and just trying to get hitch set beforehand. Thanks

Hello and welcome to the forum, when I had one I started off with the lowest setting I would try that and see how it look, unless some one that chime in might have that same setup good luck and congrats.

I am taking the opposite approach. I set mine at the highest setting. If it is too high, I can get it home that way without damage to my truck bed. I can then mess around with getting it right.

Well, I did it a different way. My B&W Companion hitch has three settings for up and down. I set mine in the middle. That way if it is not we’re you want it, you can go up or down as needed. Also, if you need to move the setting you only have to do it once. If you start all the way up (or down) you could potentially have to move it twice.

FYI: I lucked out and was just fine with it set in the middle.

I am getting the 8K axles and springs, so I figure it should ride a little higher.

Thanks all! I’ve set it in the middle location for now. I know the pin box can be adjusted as well. Just trying to prevent extra tasks on delivery day of delivery. Dealer is 400 miles from home.

Yes, I understand that the less work you have to do the easier it is, be save and let us know when you get it and don't forget to post some pics of your setup.
