351M Surge Guard Monitor

Hello All,

We noticed after we bought our unit 2 years ago, that there was a ''surge guard'' monitor in the cupboard area next to the radio cupboard. I can remember it lighting up and showing numbers. Recently when I looked at it, nothing is showing on the display. Could someone explain if this monitor attaches to another device somewhere else and if maybe there is a fuse blown preventing it from working? I have been trying to educate myself on surge control devices but find it challenging to understand. Appreciate the time.

Is there a model number on the Surge Guard display? Does the display look like the one with this unit:

If so, it's a hardwired unit and, yes, the main part is in the basement someplace between the shore power outside connector and your main power panel. I don't know about Surge Guard, but in the case of our Progressive Industries hardwired unit, if the unit is switched off at the display, there is no display.

Looks pretty similar. Going up to the rig this weekend. I will check the model number then. If time allows, I'll remove some walls in the storage area to see if I can find the main unit.
