Gray water from a trailer is the same kind of water tenters dispose on the ground every day.

I have a 2016 317 RST
Chris,
I have a 2016 317RST and "Grey Tank II" is the kitchen sink grey-water tank on my unit. "Grey Tank I" is my shower and lavatory sink grey-water tank. The pull handle order from right to left is Black; Grey I; Grey II. My sequence of draining is: Black; Grey II then Grey I last. I have also, on occasion, drained off 5-10 gallons from Grey I & II, if either gets full, using the 'Orange' hose (black-water wash-out, see link below) and 5 gallon bucket method; mostly when dry-camping. I know Grey II is full when the water backs-up in the kitchen sink. Standing water in the shower is my signal to drain Grey I. I like both 'grey' tanks as full as possible when I dump them so as to thoroughly wash-out the black-water residual, even when I have full hook-ups. The indicators for my tanks register "full" before they actually are full. (I know... shock and suprise)

Grey water that is soap and water (usually is) is beneficial to plants. If I recall, it does things like kill grubs
