Compass Connect Control Panel Location

Why did Grand Design choose to put the Compass Connect control panel in the storage compartment near the Nautlus on the 2021 Reflection 150 Series models?

Wouldn't putting it in the interior of the RV make much more sense? perhaps near the normal switch panel?

is this panel movable or is it hardwired in that location?

I agree, you would think a panel like that which is so nice and a lot more technical than the old switches would be better suited inside where it gets used more.....

The only rationale I can thinks of is that the system can be accessed from your phone or tablet so they figured access to the panel wasn't critical. I don't agree with this rationale but maybe that's what they were thinking.
