Safety Recall 2020-280 2018 303RLS

Has any body else received this recall notice, "Safety Recall 2020-280"? I received mine yesterday and from reading about the recall it seems like it would not be that difficult to do myself. Trouble is I don't know the locations of the Molex connectors in the underbelly, does anyone here have any idea where the Molex connectors in the underbelly are located? I could take down the entire underbelly but don't really want to do that if I don't need to.

I agree with you. I received my notice yesterday and I decided to wait and see what is discussed on this forum. I definately will not take my 303 to my local Grand Design dealer for service work.

Yeah, it really isn't a big deal. Find where the 110 wiring goes through the frame (check both sides, it could be more than 1 spot), drop the belly in that area, and wire tie the connectors up off the underbelly.

While you are at it, wrap a tie wrap (or two) around the connector to keep it from coming apart if the little tabs break off.

My Vin is not on the NHTSA list (I got the Canada letter)

Call you dealer, or any dealer and they can confirm using your vin.

There connectors can be found inside the frame where power wiring goes through the frame to a slide. They connect ridged trailer wiring to flexible wiring to get to the slide. While there check and tighten you coax connectors and secure other wiring.

So, I just got the recall on my 337. The wording makes it sound like they simply failed to secure wiring to the frame or sub-floor. Is it really that simple?
