How far did you travel to pick up your trailer? Please state your point of origin and destination. And RV seller. We are considering an upgrade or side grade to either a Reflection 5th wheel ( 240RL or 230RL ) or another Imagine--probably 2500RL. Rear living area is what we would like this time around. Might be the last trailer we buy in a while or ever, so we want to do the research and get the best deal but also the right trailer for us. Travel long distance to trade in our current trailer and picking up a new one isn't too much of a concern.

Denver to Great Bend Kansas. Harper RV. 420 miles. Ended up not any better of a dealer than any here in Denver. None of them seem to know what they are doing.

About 425 miles each way, with an overnight stay at the end of the first day. Maryville, TN to Southaven, MS

We traveled from Hampton Roads area of Virginia to Lazy Days in Tampa, FL to pickup our Momentum, it was a little less than 1000 miles. Lazy Days wrote us a check for what we spent on food, fuel and campground stays along the way and we got a few nights for free at their campground while waiting for delivery. We took our maiden voyage at Fort Wilderness (Disney) and then went back to VA.

1,603 miles. We placed the order while in Las Cruces, NM, and traveled (with our previous rig) from there to CSRA Camperland in Augusta, GA, to pick up the rig. We actually started the process while in Sequim, WA, which would have made it 3,563 miles (by the route we took) - but I'm just counting from where we were when the dealer actually placed the order with Grand Design.

105 miles one way. Danville, GA (home) to CSRA Camperland in Augusta, GA. We even had the same salesman (Leo Parsons) as Rob (Second Chance) had. Awesome dealer, awesome salesman.

2250 miles each way, Seattle area to Gassville Arkansas. The west coast dealers would not budge on price to even with expenses saves over 10 grand. Made it a vacation on the way home

Not that far. We actually bought our fifth wheel at a big RV show about 24 miles from our house. We had to wait for the show to be over to pick it up (3 weeks) and we had to pick it up at the main dealership (they have multiple locations). The dealer is 39 miles from our house.

That said, we had gotten a quote from a dealer about 200 miles away from home when we were looking that was very good (about 25% off MSRP), and had asked at the RV show if they would match the price. They did (and it was a newer model). But we were willing to make the trip to the other one.
