    WOW- Found the problem. When we unhooked to leave our site and I removed the electric cord, the entire interior input of the receptacle at the rv was fried and burnt!!! LUCKY WE DID NOT HAVE A FIRE.

    when able I will post several photos- as it's quite an eye opener....

    WOW! is right! Glad you didn't have a fire and everyone is OK.

    ​I think you got lucky , glad there was no fire . Guess this is where an internal EMS would be good to have. With luck no damage was done to any of the appliances.

    Added Photo- removed from RV - look closely at the interior of this Furrion receptacle!! Burned out-
    I had looked at so many areas for the burn Smell but not here. Really thought it was the water heater. We also had a progressive surge system hooked up but it was at the other end of the plug in wire, (at the electrical post of the camp site). I believe the black wire worked it’s way loose. Maybe not completely tightened by Grand Design. Although a simple job to replace had Camping World perform the task since we were on the road that day- tech said he never seen one that fried. Of course, the plug on the wire looks just as bad, missing 1/3.

    Yes we are very thankful there was no fire....
