    Dinette dimmer switch

The light switch for our dinette light say “dimmer” and it is motion activated, meaning you brush your finger over it to turn on or off. However, from what we can tell it does not dim. Is it supposed to? Are we missing something?

Usually those are hold to dim. Touch and hold and the light should fade out and then back up over and over. Take your finger off when you hit the right level, which is nigh on impossible to do with any accuracy. Practice helps.

Thanks! We tried it and it works. Although hard to get the level you want accurately as you say. Will keep practicing 👍
