Just did a rough measurement of the sites in this area. Opening pole to pole is around 30 feet. The paved road is 17 feet wide and the grass to pole curb is around 14 feet.

I am going to call tomorrow and reserve Monday and Tuesday. Thanks for the picture of the site. That sewer line is in a bad place. What is the white looking object under the picnic table on the right? Would that be the actual hookup for that site?

Yes that's the hookup for the site under the table. The one right in the middle is a clean out. For some reason they left them kinda tall in that row. It won't be in the way too much, just wanted you to be aware.

Too bad the border is likely to still be closed by the time this comes along. We’ve stayed at that campground a couple of times now. Be warned that the sites are very wide open. If you have a golf cart they usually have golf cart decoration parades on Friday night up and down the street in front of the beach which are quite hilarious to watch.

We’ve also had some pretty good problems with ants there but that was over two years ago so it might’ve been a seasonal weather thing. I just ensure I bring extra precautions for that when I go there.

Hopefully the beaches are not under repair again from hurricanes as the last time we were there it was full of bulldozers and pipes.

I see we are scattered around the area here. We're in 6003 and I've seen numbers up to the 6800 row. I wonder how many people are coming? I know Lakewood puts you in a site, there are no specific site reservations. We all seem to be on the first third of each of the rows. No specific site reservations is the only gripe I have with Lakewood. We love it here, but I hate I can't ensure we get the site again we got this week. They are good about moving you if there is a tree blocking a slide or roots directly under your steps though.

We received great news last week from Kathie. This will be out first rally too. Our site is #6808 . Seems a lot of us are arriving the Monday before. The satellite view does make it seem like they are a little small so the measurements Bwood BBQ help a ton. Thank you.
