I just posted my Southwire 50 amp portable surge guard for sale. Only selling it because I upgraded to the latest version.

Look in items for sale forum if interested.

We have a Southwire Surge Guard 50A (Model 34950). Secure it to the power post with a braided cable bike lock. At most campgrounds we seem to be in the minority of people actually securing their plug-in accessories. RVers seem to be a trusting (or naive) bunch.

I love my Power Watchdog from Hughes with the bluetooth is great. I can watch both legs and see if that 30amp connector is going to power my 50 amp rig with 2 air conditioners and other stuff.

Replaceable fuse section, that was my selling point. These things will "get weak" over time. The guts are the same for the portable and the wired versions.

I just upgraded to Surge Guard 34931 (30A). The 50A version is 34951 and has RV side open neutral protection. I also bought wireless monitor 40301 which works with both 30A/50A. Nice to sit in RV and check incoming voltage and amps being used.

The display is a real nice add-on. I put it in the cabinet where our radio and solar panel is. Very handy to have.
