    I repaired mine yesterday, took about an hour. Brake disc was stuck to plates, cleaned up plates with 600 grit sandpaper, motor ran great after. Saved myself $400.

    Haven't taken mine out , awning is still out. Was there a video you saw to tell how to take motor out. Was your awning in or out when you repaired it?

    I looked around YouTube and found some videos and service manuals. My awning was in when I repaired it, if your awning is out you just have to pin the spring end so it doesn't wind up on you.

    Saved myself $500 on a new motor.
