Potential New Owners of XLS 24MPR
Hello! We are looking seriously at the XLS 24MPR for a couple of reasons but have a very specific question for this community.
We have 2 grown kids (ages 13 and 16) who are both just under 6 feet tall. Finding a TT can be tough for tall kids since many manufacturers seem to be catering to just couples or families with small/young children. The XLS 24MPR is appealing because we can do a few things back in the garage and create a separate room for the kids.
We are towing with a 2015 F-150 3.5L Ecoboost with 3.55 gear ratio. So our max towing is 10,700 pounds and our payload/hitch weight (after people and dog) is around 1,000 pounds so we think the XLS 24MPR will work nicely. We also have no toys to haul, just a some bicycles and coolers and the like.
My questions is this. Has anyone completely removed the bunks in the garage and instead placed a couple nice sleeping chairs back there? You know, some chairs that fold out to a bed? Or even a sectional sofa with a fold out bed? I have no idea what the bunks weigh but maybe we could match the weight of the removed banks with the weight of the sleeper sofa/bed?
On a side note, it would be super cool if there was a Travel Trailer (non hybrid) with 3 Queen or Full beds. Legit queen/full beds, not a jack-knife sofa or pull out and not a bunk that makes an adult feel ike they are inside a coffin - and under 10,000 pounds. If you think there is one, please share a link.
Thanks in advance!

if you do so then I would be willing to buy the bunk bed structure from you! I found a 24 mpr without anything in the back room and would rather it have the bunks it was suppose to come with!

I have the Bunk set up that I took out immediately after purchase.
It is un-used.
