    Front Awning

Anyone have a front awning that sticks when you let it out? Has no problem rolling up. Letting the awning out it sticks on the left side? You give it a little tug and it goes out fine. Robert

My rear awning does the same thing. It is also the front arm so I just reach out the door and give it a light push. I wonder if the strut is weak. Now that we are home again I'm thinking a putting some kind of lube on that arm to see if that would help. Just have to figure out what wont run down the side of the camper.

Both of our awnings do that from time to time - I had to open the door and give the rear arm of the front awning a nudge this morning. Some silicone lubricant helps... until the next time it rains. I've thought about prying the "box" of the outer arms gently to make them slightly wider but haven't gotten around to it yet.
