Jim...have you made the switch on all light fixtures to LED to reduce power consumption? If so can you also share that info. I think GD made the switch to all LED lighting last summer but still lots of Reflections out there with some incandescent lighting.

I did switch Dave. Here's a link to a posting I did last year. Check out post number 15 on page 2 for specific information about my order. It ran less than $200 to convert my whole rig.

The color of these bulbs were pleasantly warm and very closely matched the original bulbs.

Nice setup Jim! Gonna build it! Can you post some pics of the completed project? Particularly the method of setting the angle to the Sun?

I'll be heading back out in four weeks for a week of dry camping and I'll be sure to post some photos.

Hey there! Did you try out the setup? I'm ordering panels this week.

Sorry, I didn't see your post earlier. I have used the set up several times now and it works great! My batteries have remained fully charged. My next addition will be an inverter when we get home from our summer excursion.

Where/how do you store/haul the portable panels when on the road?

You stated you have AGM batteries. When you say the two 100w panels keep them charged up; how many batteries do you have? Are they 12v or 6v?
    Thanks
