Bedroom closet doors
We have a new Reflection 337. Love it so far but wondering about the reason the sliding doors on the bedroom closet do not latch in closed position. They have snaps to secure them in the open position for travel but we would rather have them secured in closed position. Thinking about installing a latch to hold them closed. Anyone else done this or know of a reason why we could not do this?

Hi J Weir, we thought it was weird why the doors latched open too. I think I remember some people on here putting handles that matched the dresser drawers on and hooking them together for travel. We have left ours as is and 10 months, almost 4,000 miles have had no issues at all.

I agree that it seems odd but I haven't bothered to change it. We close them up when we get where we're going and latch them open for the road. Oh, we leave them open at night because our puppy dog has her bed in there and it keeps her away from our feet if we need to get up at night

I heard about folks having issues with closet doors falling off on other RVs when left closed for travel

It would be difficult to get them tight enough not to have any movement. When traveling they would be banging around causing damage.

That was one of the first things Barbara noticed. I put about a 2" piece of hook-and-loop (Velcro) on the facing edges. One piece is enough to keep them closed while stationary, but the doors opened towing back from Okeechobee. So putting a couple more pieces (middle and bottom) is on the to-do list.
