Help, landing gear not going down (or up)

We are dead in the water in our 2019 Reflection 295RL. Landing gear will not go up or down, thinking it’s the fuse, but can’t find it. Grand Design site says it is located in the bulk head. We see the fuse for the solar wiring, but not landing gear. Any idea?

In the electrical control panel inside the trailer?

Took apart the switch, and it is getting power. Looks like switch went bad.

Those swithches are famous for going bad. We always carry 1 or 2 extra. when you find out it's bad is normally when you are wanting to go not be chasing around to get a new one. Sometimes it will quit working in one direction only. In that case you can take it off and reverse te wires to get going right away. One thing that is good for blowing the fuse ( which is in a fuse holder by the battery) or the switch is running the stabilizers all the way up. For some reason that causes problems. You can see marks on the stabilizers where it has been up quite a bit and stop just short of that mark.

That’s an interesting idea. Up did start to work, so we could try that.. Still have only successfully found the solar panel fuse. Will have to keep looking.

Huge thanks to you and Bungy for the quick replies. Much appreciated.

The landing legs may be run off one of the auto resetting circuit breakers. They're sometimes behind a plastic cover near the battery.

Help, landing gear not going down (or up)

Our Reflection 337 is in a shop down in Ft Worth with a broken right front landing gear jack. It has really been erratic of late and finally gave out, dropping that front corner so quick it snapped an aluminum frame member right behind the jack in the front compartment. Being replaced.

Oh yeah, same attempt to set up the kitchen slide extended about 4 or 5 inches and quit. Couldn’t get in or out. Pulled that 2017 trailer over 30,000 miles and first real problems. Argh!

I had three of them fail in the first six months, the first in a week and half of owning the trailer. I took the second switch apart and found the plastic internals melted. I think it's also only rated at 20 amps. The internal crossover isn't stout enough to carry the current and heats up when held in position for extended periods melting the insides. Since I was taking the trailer in for work at another dealer I had them replace it. They used a much more robust 30 amp switch and rewired the crossover externally. The nice thing about this is the cover panel is fixed and the switch is modular so it can be removed and easily replaced. I found a replacement just in case but have had no trouble with the present one.

    If you get this:https://www.gamainc.com/product/232-1g/
    And this: https://www.gamainc.com/product/129-pr-mom/
It will fit where the OEM was without modification. The switches pop right out of the plate and cost a fraction of a Lippert replacement but should last a lot longer.

This pic appears to show the same configuration I have in my 273MK. My front landing gear failed today, can't find an inline fuse and the auto resetting circuit breaker tested ok? Guessing I have a bad switch, any thoughts? Thanks
