@rags702 that one looks pretty great for the price, though I don't know anything about how long the manufacturer has been producing that kind of product. Looks worth a try for that price though.

Make sure to get one that accepts standard leads. A nice set with clips is very handy.

For a while Harbor Freight was giving those away when using one of their discount coupons found in magazines. I have two of them.
Unless you plan on troubleshooting electronic circuit boards, that one will be fine. Just be careful with the leads. They pull out of the probes fairly easily...Frank and Char + Maya, Newport, Michigan. 2016 Solitude 379FL/2006 F250 6.0 diesel w/dually conversion. 4th rain-sense roof vent, two ceiling fans, Kodiak disc brakes, Carlisle G 14-ply tires, Water Miser x2, final dump valve, water header tank, fridge cond fan switch, outside range exhaust, elec hot water anode, filtered drinking water, triple battery box,

Bought my Fluke true RMS at an Orchard (Sears owned) on close out for $29.95. I asked in the store if this was right, they said yes, I ran to the checkout! Looked it up in my McMaster Carr book and it was $289.

I am a Ham Radio Operator and work on electronics. so I have a Fluke 87V in my shack. I got the Fluke when my RCA VTVM gave up the ghost. You don't need anything like that in the RV any meter that will check AC Volts, DC Volts, and continuity (Ohms) will do.
I am sure Harbor Freight will have what you need. It will probably run between 10$ to 30$.Last edited by Malco1; 08-15-2020 at 07:01 PM.
