Thinking of installing a well tank. Has one one installed one?

I’m considering installing a well pressure tank on the discharge of my pump. I think it would be good for a more consistent water flow and the pump would not turn on as much. However the pump would have long run cycles just less of them.

I did some searching and I can’t find a thread on it.

Somewhere on this site you can find mods folks have made adding an expansion tank similar to the one you are looking at.

The horizontal orientation of the tank you've looked at seems peculiar, but I'm no expert. What advantage does it offer over a vertically-oriented tank?
