Okay, Not exactly the same as I thought was asked for. This is tied to a medical emergency, the same as the $149 Good Sam platinum plan that I have now.
This does not transport the RV/truck home from a RV/truck related issue... unless I am reading it wrong.

As a tow operator I have done it a couple times. If it's a camper trailer and within a few hours of break down location I will send either my own pickup or MDT to tow trailer home. If further and not covered by roadside I have towed it as far as they allow and dropped it at nearest rest area overnight. Next morning customer called in again and requested another tow for max allowed distance. Just kept doing it till they got home

191185,
I doubt FMCA (or any other insurance company will tow a rig all the way home). As others have pointed out - that is for medical reasons.
but.... FMCA has some kind of assistance group that would likely help. I couldn't remember the name of their service but it is something by which other FMCA s members pitch in to help. I checked their website and found saw this...
Pinch Hit Driver
Any FMCA member who encounters an emergency that prevents the member from driving his or her RV while on the road may request the assistance of an FMCA member-driver to transport the RV to a chosen destination at the owner's expense.
Does that cover what you are after?Last edited by traveldawg; 08-12-2020 at 06:45 AM. Reason: typos

If I understand you correctly, I ran into a similar situation many moons (and 2 RV's) ago. My wife and I were traveling from Las Vegas to SoCal for a long weekend. My almost new truck broke down about 2/3'rds the way there and had to be towed to the nearest dealer (in my case, it was a factory warranty issue). The tow company towed my truck and trailer to the nearest dealer, and the dealer gave me permission to park the trailer in their back lot until the truck was fixed. I got a rental pick-up (paid under the warranty in my case), loaded up all our necessary stuff out of the trailer (food, clothes, valuables) and we headed back home. The next weekend they had my truck fixed and we drove the rental back, got my truck and trailer, and headed home. There was no need to have the RV towed home because it was secured in their lot.

State Farm covered my several hour tow from Monument Valley back to Durango. Over a $1K tow bill.
Now a thought - if your hundreds or thousands of miles from home there might be a possibility of catching an RV delivery operator. Any dealer of any brand would have numbers for them. Those are the folks that deliver from the factory and depending on where you are you might get lucky. They hate to dead head back to the factory. Otherwise you might have to drop the trailer someplace and come back after your truck is repaired. I almost had to do that until I found out the towing company was capable of towing the 5th wheel.2018 Reflection 150 Series 220RK 5th wheel with 6K axle upgrade. I had AAA until they left me sitting on the side of a busy highway just outside of Macon ga. I called them for help changing a blown tire and they said it would be about an hour. We waited and after about an hour we had not heard anything so we called back and were informed that they could not find anyone with a jack big enough for my 29RS fifth wheel. They did not call me back, I had to call them to be informed this. Luckily I had a bottle jack and was able to get it high enough to change the tire and was on my way but I told myself that was the last time I would call AAA. Now with good Sam platinum.
