Drilling through top of basement into bedroom cabinet

Hello all - tried using the search function but didn't see anything directly on point, so thought I would ask here.

I have an Imagine 3250BH and am putting together a non-permanent cellular wifi solution. We typically camp in areas with good service, but am looking for something I can set up and take down as needed just when the signal is low. I have an antenna mounted to pipe that is attaching to the side of the rig via heavy duty suction cup mount.

My plan was to run the cable through the "pass through" where the water hose comes into the basement for hook up at the Universal Docking Station, then drill a hole through the "ceiling" of the basement that runs into the cabinets in the bedroom. The wire would run behind the two drawers and into the upper cabinet. When I have it up and running I can open the door to that cabinet to help the wifi signal.

Wondering if anyone has done something similar - drilling to run a wire through the ceiling of the basement into the cabinetry in the front bedroom? Any landmines I should be aware of?

I just did this. I brought the wire into the top cabinet and then drilled it down to the basement. I ran it all the way to the outside wall of the camper and then ran it down. There was enough room on the side of the drawers that it didn't interfere. In my case it came into the basement about center of the access door and I ran it along the ceiling to its termination. The only thing you might have to watch is to make sure you avoid the metal bracing in the roof of the basement with your drill.

If you pull your bed there is a chance you can access an existing hole. On my unit the top of the bed platform came up after removing a few screws.

Good to know - I guess you mean the fixed part of the bed platform (not the part that hinges up for storage)? In other words, the part underneath where head would be when laying on the bed?
