Quick question. How long after GD assigns the VIN number production starts? I know COVID is slowing things down.

That's hard to say as that depends solely on current schedule and all the orders in front of you. The VIN gets assigned almost immediately (within about a week or so of the order being place) regardless of schedule so I don't think that's a good tracking measure.

I recieved my vin number last week August 7th, and my trailer was completed yesterday the 12th. Sad news is now it can take up to 15 days for the trailer to be shipped to the dealer here in California. I was told I should have an update today when to expect it. The reason for the 15 days is due to the transportation companies being overwhelmed by high RV sales.

First week of June. I ordered a 367bhs because the 2020 that was on the lot sold as I was looking at it. Trailers here in California sell as they hit the lot right now.

I got my vin aug 7th as well and it was completed on the 11th
We are now waiting on transport it’s supposed to ship in the next few days and be to my dealer by Friday next week

You won't, generally.

The dealer doesn't even know when they actually ship until a driver shows up on the lot with the trailer.
