Have you checked the two locking bolts? They may be still tight.

[QUOTE=GRKC5123;315044]With the turnover ball (gooseneck) setup, the Andersen Ultimate moves to ball back in the bed 3", when you install the ball connection to the king pin you can gain an extra 4". Much better than the pin directly over the turnover ball standard location.[/QUOT

I recently purchased a 150 series and tow with a 2019 F250 6.2L 6.7 bed. I have a Curt A16 slider hitch but not once have I moved the slider back in 2 months of full time use. I'm still glad I got the slider as I didn't want to mess with the turning point and keep the hauling experience more typical for a fifth wheel.
If I had a 90 degree back in spot I would probably need to set the hitch to maneuvering position but even in that situation I try to avoid the right angle so the wheels and axles aren't being side pressured too much.
Just another opinion... But I would get a slider again for the just in cases.

I am so glad to see the people with the Andersons having good luck. I visited two dealerships under the same company name and asked about the Anderson. One place said it was a terrible hitch and would void warranty while the other said it was great and many customers used it. These were supposedly the hitch specialist at both locations (Mclains RV). I get different answers everytime I visit.

We have a 295RL with the Turning Point pin box, towed by a SB (6'4") Ram 2500 diesel and a B&W Companion hitch with a Curt wedge. I've had this setup at a full 90 degrees in a slow, tight turn without any problems. I like being able to tow with a shorter bed and not having to use a slider hitch. And, the Turning Point moves the pivot point back a few inches farther than a slider.

Just don't forget to have the pin box dropped so they very large bearing can be serviced (lubed). Not sure what that cost to drop that pin box! Between that and some issues I have read about the turning pin box, I decided to not use it and go with an Anderson Hitch. Then I determined my F250 4x4 Diesel Super Duty's GVW of 10K would not handle the 260RD and went with an F350 long bed dually diesel. I get better mileage in both highway and city pulling the 260RD and do not have to look for fuel as often with a 48 gal tank vs the 26 I had in the 2013 F250. I have been pulling RVs for over 45years and the 260RD on the F250 was very noticeable...not so with the F350.
So, watch the gap in the turning point pin box and get it serviced to avoid a major problem.Terry and Elizabeth
