Hello all. The awnings on our Solitude’s don’t auto stop when extending. If you keep the extend button pushed the awning will roll onto itself and roll back in.

I woke up to a storm and went to roll the awning in. In my sleepy state I pressed the extend button. The awning rolled back onto itself.

The next day I hit extend on both awnings at the same time. I heard movement then nothing. Fuse blew. It was because the awnings could not move and the motors were locked.

I replaced the fuse and figured out what I did. Ugh.

I had to push the retract button to get the awnings to roll out.

Just wanted to share my experience. Make sure you roll your awnings back in with the retract button :-)
